Transforming Tofu into Brownies!

Tofu is the secret to making moist and low fat brownies that you won't stop eating.

Oil-free brownies packed with calcium, protein and iron.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounces Organic Soft Tofu
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts​ ​

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. Put tofu in mixer and blend until smooth.
  3. Add corn starch and baking soda to tofu. Mix well.
  4. Add sugar, flour, salt, vanilla (if you got it, it's expensive right now), water & cocoa powder. Mix well.
  5. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts. Mix well.
  6. Oil a brownie pan or 8X8 pan and pour the batter.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes, until cooked through.
  8. Take the brownies out of the oven and let cool to room temperature. Slice into individual portions if needed.
