Chia Strawberry Jam

It's strawberry jam season! Do you love it or leave it?

In our jam we use chia seeds as a thickener. No preservatives with 100% natural flavour. Creating only what we need.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup - 1 cup fresh berries
  • 1 - 2 Tbsp maple syrup or agave 
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla (optional)


Instructions
  1. Use the back of a spoon to gently mash the berries until only small chunks remain. 
  2. Add the sweetener of choice, chia & vanilla
  3. Wait at least 15 minutes for the jam to thicken.
  4. Store in the fridge until ready to use. Enjoy!!
Jam's  too thick?
Add more water, a little bit at a time.
Jam's too thin?
Add more chia seeds and wait. 
Not sweet enough?
Add more sweetener of choice.
