Mac n' Cheese with Potatoes & Carrots

We've done it again!
​

Mac n' Cheese without dairy or store bought vegan cheeses. 

This pasta dish is created with potatoes, carrots and onion but it's the nutritional yeast that gives the cheese flavour with a Vitamin B12 boost! 

Give it a try top it however you like! 
One of our favourite  combinations is spinach, cheesy pasta, sprouts, pepitas, siracha!

TIPS & TRICKS

Picky Eaters
Add hot peppers or other veggies into the sauce prior to blending.
It's just a veggie packed cheese sauce in disguise :) 
The Next Day
Enjoy cold or heat it up. Put the leftovers on a baking tray with parchment & place in oven or bbq until hot. 
Leftover Sauce
Make it more cheesy pasta, dip or spread.

Classic Caesar Sauce

 Drive to a grocery store to buy sauce?
Why bother, make this instead!

Couple extra minutes and all the ingredients, you CAN do it!
 

Homemade Caesar Sauce

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 tsp grated garlic ( or 1 tsp+ powder)
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast 
  • 2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients well.
  2. Add more water if needed.

Peanut Sauce

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp natural peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  •  garlic and ginger to taste 

Directions
Add all ingredients to a small bowl or mason jar. Mix well.
​Add water to thin if needed.

Don't have a whisk? use a fork.
Not enough sauce? Double or triple the recipe. 
Like spice? Add some hot sauce

Thai Red Curry Pizza Sauce

I nice switch from the traditional pizza sauce. 

What if this recipe make too much sauce? 

Freeze for later OR make more pizzas.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp red curry paste
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

​Directions:
  • Mix all ingredients well.
  • Use sauce for pizza​
